From July 14-18th, hundreds of Massachusetts residents will march the route of Spectra’s proposed gas pipeline projects all the way to the Massachusetts State House. Together, we'll show Governor Baker and state legislators that if they don't take leadership on stopping new gas pipelines, the people will!
Walk with us for a half-day, a full day or the whole march. We'll provide housing and meals along the way -- plus vans and shuttles for those who can't walk the full distance. If you can't march, there are lots of other roles to fill, from cooking to shuttle bus driving, so we'd still love to have you!
The march will start in Medway, MA (shuttle provided from Boston) on the morning of Thursday, July 14. We'll walk from Medway to Sharon on Thursday, and then from Sharon to Norwood via Canton and Stoughton on Friday. On Saturday, we'll head to West Roxbury to shut down construction on the gas pipeline with our friends from Resist the West Roxbury Pipeline. Sunday will take us to downtown Boston -- and on Monday, we'll conclude the week with a final, massive rally at the State House.
